This is the silver version of the United Kingdom Proof Set of the year, including the regular circulating coins plus (most of) the commemorative coins issued throughout the year.

The 2014 set includes the Queen's Anne Commemorative £5 (crown), the Lord Kitchener (World War I - Outbreak) and the Trinity House commemorative £2 coins, and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 50 pence.

Apart from the "definitive" £1 of the Royal Shield type, there are also two £1 coins with the floral emblems of Scotland and Northern Ireland respectively. The rest of the coins in the set are all the regular circulating coins, from the definitive £2 Technology down to 1p.

The coins are struck in Sterling Silver and are in Proof FDC grade with frosted finish. There is also a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
