They sometimes also strike bullion and commemorative objects of precious metal which are not legal tender. One of these formats, targeted at collectors, is the silver foil - a large thin rectangle weighing more than than one troy ounce, usually with a commemorative theme.

This Back to the Future 35g Silver Foil featuring the DeLorean Time Machine Blueprint is a collector’s edition by The Coin Company, as part of a series dedicated to the famous movie.
