Gold Ounce 2024 Napoleon Bonaparte, Coin from Liberia
CoinGold Ounce 2024 Napoleon Bonaparte

The Republic of Liberia has been issuing its own coinage denominated in Liberian Dollars since 1847. Apart from the circulating coinage, the country also allows some foreign mints to strike non-circulating commemorative and bullion coins under its authority. These are usually dedicated to historical or general popular culture themes not related to the country itself. Many of them are in standard bullion sizes, including the one troy ounce (1oz) of gold format.

This coin is part of the first release in the Commanders series by the Scottsdale Mint, and features Napoleon Bonaparte.

The mint says about it:
Amidst the chaos of history, one man emerges as the veritable titan of the battlefield. One name that struck terror into the hearts of his foes and kindled fervor in the souls of his men - Napoleon Bonaparte. His life was a never-ending march, a relentless battle, for he was the very embodiment of military might, an unyielding force that carved his path to glory through the annals of time. As cannons roared and empires quaked, he seized destiny itself by the throat, shaping the world as few mortals ever have dared.

"The battlefield is a scene of constant chaos. The winner will be the one who controls that chaos, both his own and the enemy's." - Napoleon Bonaparte

The Scottsdale Mint Commander's Series stands as a resolute tribute to the indomitable spirit of history's most exceptional military leaders - visionaries who forged legacies in the crucible of warfare, leading their troops to resounding victories that would echo through the ages. In a grand odyssey spanning an initial four-year period, this series unveils a magnificent trilogy of coins each year, unleashing an initial twelve extraordinary tributes to these legendary commanders, men who earned the respect of the nations and the fear of their enemies.
