Silver Thirty-five Grams 2019 Star Wars - Comics #21, Coin from Niue - detailed information

The obverse of the coin shows the crowned mature head of Queen Elizabeth II facing right (her effigy known as the "Fourth Portrait"). The Queen wears the "Girls of Great Britain and Ireland" diamond tiara, a wedding gift from Queen Mary (Her Majesty's grandmother) in 1947 - which she also has on the Machin and the Gottwald portraits.

In small letters below the head, the artist's initials IRB (for Ian Rank-Broadley).

Around the effigy is the monarch's legend, the date of issue and the value: ELIZABETH II NIUE TWO DOLLARS 2019.

The effigy and inscription are very small, and are surrounded by a geometric motif and thin lines spiralling out. The rest of the obverse is covered with small logos of the New Zealand Mint (NEW ZEALAND MINT on two lines, above which the stars of the Southern Cross constellation), as a sort of mint mark.

In small letters below right, the precious metal content: 35gm .999 Fine Silver (35 grams of 99.9% silver).

The reverse is coloured and represents a replica of the STAR WARS #21 comics cover from March 1979.
