|Coin||Gold Tenth-Ounce 2022 Magnum Opus|
Tokelau, known previously as the Tokelau Islands, is a dependent territory of New Zealand in the southern Pacific Ocean. It uses the New Zealand Dollar as circulation currency, but has been issuing a variety of non-circulating coins since 1978, and has also authorised some foreign mints to issue bullion coins under its jurisdiction - such as this one.
The Mint says about this coin:
Mathematics is the language of nature and the Golden Ratio has baffled scientists for centuries. Showing up everywhere from snail shells to financial markets and all the way to galaxies, this peculiar law of nature seeps into everything. This coin celebrates this phenomenon - can you find all examples and references in the design?
The obverse design shows a number of geometric pattern illustrating the "golden ratio", and a background texture with a geometric motif. Above left, the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, by Ian Rank-Broadley; below the portrait, in tiny letters the designer's initials IRB.

Around below left, the metal content: 1/10 oz FINE GOLD 9999 (one tenth of a troy ounce of 99.99% gold).
The obverse design shows a number of geometric pattern illustrating the "golden ratio"; under three of the figures, offset by 120 degrees, three times the inscription MAGNUS OPUS.
Around below right, the face value 10 DOLLARS.
