The Commonwealth Mint & Philatelic Bureau Ltd specialises in the production of commemorative coins and stamps for collectors, together with the production of bullion, and currency coins for circulation. The company is based in the United Kingdom and strikes coins mainly for British overseas territories. It distributes its products via a number of partners, with the production often branded with their names only - e.g. The London Mint Office, Jubilee Mint, The Bradford Exchange, Hattons of London etc. The company has had an exclusive license to strike coins for Tristan da Cunha since 2004. In 2020, the Commonwealth Mint appointed Jody Clark Head of Design. |
