Shield of arms of Fiji, the English lion facing left above the Cross of St. George, in its paws, a cocoa pod; below in four quarters around the cross: sugar canes, a coconut palm, a bunch of bananas and the dove of peace (the main element of the flag of King Cakobau, first King of Fiji) the shield has no supporters and divides the date 1945; above, FIJI; below, FLORIN.
