Silver Ounce (2022) Game of Thrones - The Night King, Coin from New Zealand - detailed information

The New Zealand Mint (which is private and not a government mint) is very active in the bullion coinage space. Normally, it issues legal tender coins - mostly under the jurisdiction of Niue, a New Zealand territory; however, some of its production is pure bullion, i.e. not legal tender, in one troy ounce of silver - such as this one.

This third collectible in the New Zealand Mint's Game of Thrones Collection depicts The Night King.

The Mint says about it:
Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, The Night King’s ominous demeanour is perfectly displayed on this 1oz pure silver medallion!

Crafted as a square badge, one side of the medallion shows a fully coloured print of the icy villain, and the other side features an engraving of his infamous name The Night King. Engraved along the bottom, you will find the confirmation that it is 1oz of .999 fine silver and the HBO copyright for authentication.

The custom-designed box includes images of the series logo and a close-up shot of the Iron Throne, which is the perfect accompaniment for the medallion inside. The medallion itself is encased in a clear, acrylic capsule housed in a velvet-lined insert in the packaging.
