Silver Ounce (2022) Game of Thrones - Three Eyed Raven, Coin from New Zealand - detailed information

The New Zealand Mint (which is private and not a government mint) is very active in the bullion coinage space. Normally, it issues legal tender coins - mostly under the jurisdiction of Niue, a New Zealand territory; however, some of its production is pure bullion, i.e. not legal tender, in one troy ounce of silver - such as this one.

This second collectible in the New Zealand Mint's Game of Thrones Collection is a 1oz silver medallion of the Three Eyed Raven crafted as a square badge. On one side, there is an engraving of the greenseer in his raven form, whereas the other side displays the engraved phrase "All men must die" and the series logo below. Also engraved on the medallion is confirmation that it is a full 1oz of .999 fine silver and includes the HBO copyright for authentication. To further enhance the design, some light relief has been added, and the engraved parts of the design are sandblasted to create contrast with the mirror finish background.

Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the medallion is secured in an acrylic capsule nestled in black velvet, placed inside a Game of Thrones-themed box, featuring the series logo and a close-up shot of the Iron Throne to complement this special collectible.
