Silver Five Ounces 2024 City Views - Paris, Coin from United Kingdom - detailed information

Like many other mints, the Royal Mint issues bullion coins in precious metals, having much higher intrinsic value than their face value. The five ounce (5 oz) silver coins are denominated as ten pounds (£10).

This design is the third release in the City Views series and features Paris, the capital of France.

The coin’s reverse design has been skilfully adapted from a wood engraving and lithograph produced in 1900. Recreating a famous district of Paris filled with architectural marvels, the city’s defining structure, the Eiffel Tower, dominates the skyline.
