Geiger Edelmetalle GmbH is a family owned company in Germany, specialising in the trade of high-quality bars, rounds and coins made of gold, silver, platinum, palladium or copper.
Geiger Edelmetalle’s history dates back to 1218, when its founders helped establish Germany’s first silver trade in Leipzig. The trade was quickly embraced by people around the world. From its offices near the majestic Schloss Güldengossa castle, Geiger Edelmetalle carries on its proud tradition of excellence in precious metals.
It is is a significant producer of bullion products, and also strikes legal tender coins such as (among other things) Armenia's Noah’s Ark bullion coin range - through its wholly owned subsidiary, Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitung GmbH; the mint mark on the coins comes from the name of the latter company - LEV (abbreviated from Leipziger Edelmetall Verarbeitung - as three words and not two). |
