More than 50 years on, the Royal Australian Mint proudly presents this special commemorative coin in honour of Stuart Devlin AO; a never-before-struck two cent coin design based on one of his original 1966 concepts. While the frill-necked lizard design eventually won out, this alternative design featuring a Kangaroo and Joey has stood the test of time, a testament to the timelessness of the great design and a true hallmark of Stuart Devlin’s enduring appeal.
