This portrait of Queen Elizabeth II was created by British artist Jody Clark for a series of commemorative coins issued by The Commonwealth Mint for the island of Alderney, marking the Queen's Platinum Jubilee (70 years on the throne).
Jody Clark is best known as the author of the fifth definitive effigy Queen Elizabeth II, which was used in the United Kingdom since 2015, and in other countries - most notably Australia - in an uncouped version since 2019.
On the crowned portrait, Queen Elizabeth II is shown wearing the Imperial Crown, depicted as the Crown of Saint Edward.
