This coin is part of the Prehistoric Life series of premium bullion and collector coins, and features the Triceratops.

The Triceratops lived at the end of the Upper Cretaceous period in what is now North America. It belongs to the genus of bird-backed dinosaurs, which were characterized by their horns and neck shield. With a length of 9 meters and a weight of up to 12 tons, it is the largest and best-known dinosaur of its kind.

Below the Coat of Arms, in small letters the precious metal of the coin: 0.5 g Au 999.9 (half gram of 99.99% gold; Au is abbreviated from Aurum, the Latin word for gold).
