Only the 1 oz coin will be restricted in production to roughly 30,000 coins.On the reverse face of the 2016 oz Australian Gold Monkey is the latest image featured on a lunar coin. Designed by Ing Ing Jong, the image features a small monkey sitting on a tree branch. Resting on its hind legs, it is looking back over its shoulder at a peach hanging down from a branch above.The obverse bears the common right-profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Though 2015 saw a new image of Her Majesty adopted on British coins, Sir Ian Rank-Broadleys 1998 image remains on these coins as the Perth Mint preferred continuity with the other Lunar Series II coins.Each 2016 oz Australian Gold Monkey in this product listing is available in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
