Silver Ounce 2022 James Bond 60th Anniversary, Rectangle, Coin from Tuvalu - detailed information

The obverse of the coin shows at its centre the crowned mature head of Queen Elizabeth II facing right (her effigy known as the "Fourth Portrait"). The Queen wears the "Girls of Great Britain and Ireland" diamond tiara, a wedding gift from Queen Mary (Her Majesty's grandmother) in 1947 - which she also has on the Machin and the Gottwald portraits.

In tiny letters below the head, the artist's initials IRB (for Ian Rank-Broadley).

Above the effigy on two lines is the monarch's legend ELIZABETH II TUVALU, followed by the metal content 1oz 9999 Ag (one troy ounce of 99.99% silver).

Below the effigy, also on two lines, the face value and date of issue: 1 DOLLAR 2022.

Reflecting Bond’s skill at Baccarat, this rectangular or playing card-shaped coin portrays the official 60th anniversary logo of James Bond, which incorporates the franchise’s iconic the number 60 and the 007 gun symbol.
