Above, a small effigy of Queen Elizabeth II - her Fourth Portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, below which in tiny letters the designer's initials IRB. Horizontally below, the years of the Queen's reign, 1952 - 2022.

Around the rim, the monarch's legend, the face value of the coin and the date of issue: QUEEN ELIZABETH II · 1 DOLLAR TUVALU 2024 ·.

At the centre of the coin is a circular rotating silver bead insert representing a dragon, plated with 18ct gold. The charm is surrounded by artistic representations of a serpentine-shaped dragon, stylised clouds, and a symbolic flaming pearl (in Chinese culture, a symbol of wisdom).

The Perth Mint's P mint mark is below right. The designer's initials NM (for Natasha Muhl) are above left, near the rim.

Around above right, the precious metal content: 1oz 9999 SILVER (one troy ounce of 99.99% silver).
