The reverse of the coin depicts a close-up of architectural elements of the Westminster Abbey in London, where traditionally the coronation ceremony for British monarchs is held.

At centre, below an arch, the royal cypher C III R (abbreviation from Charles III Rex, which in Latin means Charles the Third, King), crowned with the Tudor Crown.

The initials of the designer, N.J (for Natasha Jenkins) are in the right field.
