Niue, a sovereign state in free association with New Zealand, uses two official legal tender currencies. The New Zealand Dollar is the circulation currency for daily transactions, while the government also authorises legal tender coins in the Niue Dollar currency for collector's purposes.

A number of mints issue a large variety of commemorative, bullion and collector coins under the authority of Niue. These coins are dedicated to historical or general popular culture themes not related to Niue itself. Many of them are in standard bullion sizes - typically, one ounce of silver (abbreviated as 1 oz Ag, where "Ag" comes from the Latin word for silver, Argentum). Many of these feature characters and themes from popular culture.

One of the most infamous Batman villains, Edward Nygma is a master at devising puzzles and riddles into his schemes, leaving them as clues for authorities to solve.

Made with 1oz of pure silver, this dastardly design is coloured and shaped to resemble the trickster donning his purple domino mask and green question mark bowler hat. Additional light relief has been added to further enhance the design. The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is finely engraved on the obverse of the coin, confirming it is legal tender.

Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the themed outer box includes a large window which allows you to display your collectible with ease. Inside, the coin is secured in an acrylic coin capsule, which is nestled in blue velvet.
