Niue, a sovereign state in free association with New Zealand, uses two official legal tender currencies. The New Zealand Dollar is the circulation currency for daily transactions, while the government also authorises legal tender coins in the Niue Dollar currency for collector's purposes.

A number of mints issue a large variety of commemorative, bullion and collector coins under the authority of Niue. These coins are dedicated to historical or general popular culture themes not related to Niue itself. Many of them are in standard bullion sizes - typically, one ounce of silver (abbreviated as 1 oz Ag, where "Ag" comes from the Latin word for silver, Argentum). Many of these feature famous movie characters.

This coin is part of a New Zealand Mint collection of "premium bullion coins" featuring movie characters and themes, and is the fifth in the Star Wars - Mandalorian Classic series.

The deadly bounty hunter, Boba Fett shines in pure silver, as part of The Mandalorian Classic Coin Collection! This incredible 1oz silver coin features an intricately engraved image of Boba Fett in deadly battle, as seen in the Lucasfilm series The Mandalorian. To further enrich the design, some relief, mirror-finish and frosting has also been added. Engraved on the obverse is the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth ll to confirm it as legal tender.

Officially licensed, the coin is held inside a high-quality inner coin case with a sleek Star Wars themed outer box. The Certificate of Authenticity is included and shows the coin’s unique number in the limited mintage of only 5,000 coins.
