Designer Initials, Signatures and Monograms on Coins

This article is an attempt to make a systematic list of the designer's signatures and other forms of identification which can be found on various coins, to assist in identifying them on coins where they have not been explicitly listed elsewhere.

This list is obviously not full and is under construction. Note that in many cases there are ambiguities - the same abbreviation may apply to more than one person; in such cases, it has to be decided by context - e.g. country, mint and time (when the coin was issued).
